1. Can Crave Catering arrange alcohol, staffing, equipment
& theming & entertainment?
Being total event managers, Crave Catering can handle all aspects
of your function from food, beverages (alcohol), all your staff
requirements, any equipment including marquees to cutlery &
crockery; glassware to cookware. Also entertainment like bands
and DJ's, magicians & comedians or special effects such as
fireworks & paper cannons can be organised especially for
you.
2. I have the job of arranging a function - where do I start?
Call us and we will advise on all aspects of your function. This
is a FREE no obligation service. Our staff are trained in all
areas and will know what questions to ask to assure all information
is covered.
3. How many staff are needed for my function?
The following ratios are standard, however, individual functions
have unique requirements and we would advise you with your request.

4. Do I need a chef?
Chefs are required for any function where food needs preparation
or cooking. Cold menus & drop offs do not need kitchen staff
(depending on numbers & complexities). Again we will advise
your individual circumstances with you.
5. How many items of fingerfood should I allow per person?
Many factors influence the amount of fingerfood allocated per
person. The time of the day, demographics and function style will
alter the quantities. Allow more food over the meal times (ie
breakfast, lunch and dinner). Allow more food where the ratio
of men to women is higher. Factor in whether alcohol is being
served (people will get hungry then).
6. Can Crave Catering cater at my house?
Yes - any location, anywhere (except venues that already have
in house caterers).
7. Can you cater on weekends?
Yes, we are open when you are!
8. Can we taste the food before we order it?
We are proud to be leading the way in regular tasting evenings
which are held in our kitchen in South Yarra. There we offer guests
a chance to not only view our premises, but also sip on some wine
whilst enjoying a cross section of our menus. We also hold private
tastings specific to your chosen menu.
9. Can I pay by credit card?
Yes, we accept VISA, Mastercard and Bankcard. We do accept Diners
and AMEX but they will incur a 3% fee.
